2 Methods To Hide Whatsapp Images,Videos & Audio files From your Gallery

When you are connected to wifi network some of your whatsapp content get auto download which you might not want to download and these media appears in gallery which sometime gives bad impression of yours on the person who may checking your gallery. So to avoid this just follow the method to hide whatsapp content from gallery. jsut follow the below steps to proceed.

Step 1:First of all open File Explorer of your device.
Step 2:Now navigate to Whatsapp folder in the file manager.
Step 3:Now open the folder named Media there.

Step 4:Now there you will see all the folder of your whatsapp content including whatsapp images and whatsapp videos.

Step 5:Now rename the folder Whatsapp images to .Whatsapp images, if you want to hide whatsapp images from gallery.

Step 6:Rename Whatsapp Videos to .Whatsapp Videos, if you want to hide whatsapp video files from your gallery.

Step 7:Rename Whatsapp Audio to .Whatsapp Audio,if you want to hide whatsappp audio files from your file manager.
Step 8:Now open settings-> Apps manager and there you will find gallery in the All section, click on it.

Step 9:Now scroll little down and click on clear cache.

That's it you are done, now open your gallery and you will see that the whatsapp content will not be displayed there.

Method2:
Hide Whatsapp images, videos, audios files from gallery using ES file explorer.
Step 1: Launch ES File Exporter File Manager and tap Whatsapp folder.

Step 2: Then tap media folder.

Step 3: Now tap Whatsapp images (Similarly you can go for Whatsapp videos and audios).

Step 4: Tab on + icon shown in the bottom left of file manager and you will see a screen as shown below.

Step 5: Create a new file and name it as “.nomedia”.

You are done. Now open your gallery and you will see all Whatsapp images have been vanished.
