Top 10 hidden features to try in Facebook

1. See private profile pictures in full size.
This one I can’t say it as a “feature”, its actually a trick. Right click on image and select “open image in new tab”. This will open up image in new tab but it will be in small size. There is a quick trick to fix this and get picture in full size. Goto the url and find “160×160″ and replace it with “720×720″ without quotes. You also have to change “160.160″ to “720.720″. Reload the page and you will get the private picture in full size!

2. Sending private messages from traditional email accounts
You can send messages to a person on his Facebook account from your email accounts like Gmail or Yahoo. All you have to do is send the mail to “username”@facebook.com from your traditional account and the person will receive it in his personal messages.

3. Your other inbox
Facebook sorts your messages based on how much they think a message is important to you, so all the messages you receive in your inbox are from friends or friends of friends or people you have earlier texted to. If any message seems not important at all, it goes to your “other” folder

4. Check out your log in details
Do you suspect that someone else is logging into your Facebook account. There’s an easy way to find out. Go to security folder and click on the link “where you are logged in”. This displays logins from both computer and mobile.

5. English upside down and the Pirate language
Haven’t you been a fan of the Pirate movies and wanted to speak like they do to your buddies. Well, Facebook has an option for displaying your account in the Pirate English version. Also you can view your profile upside down. For these options, go to account settings and select language. There you will find these two options.

6.Turning off push notifications
To turn them off, all you got to do is un-tick the notifications you don’t want in the Privacy Settings > Notifications > Mobile Push notifications.

7. Making an interest list
These lists lets you view the things you are most interested in knowing about on Facebook. To make one, go to this link:  and click on “add interests”. You can make it private or public. This can be easily highlighted on your main screen news feed.

8.View friendship history
This tool is often useful to review the events you’ve had with one particular friend. You can go to the friend’s profile and click on friendship history.

9. Downloading all your data
Information such as posts photos and timeline events from your account. You can also check the ads you have clicked from the downloaded content. This can be done by going to Settings and selecting “Download a copy of your Facebook data” from Accounts.

10. Embedding public content
To embed a publicly available content to your web page, just click embed from the pull down menu of the file.
