Test Antivirus Detecting Level Using Notepad

This is a simple trick to test whether your antivirus is working or not.The detecting level of your antivirus can also be determined by this test.Trick is so simple all you have to need is notepad.

I will give you step by step instruction for testing your antivirus

1. Open notepad and copy the below code into it.

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

If your antivirus dont allow you to copy this code and shows a warning,detecting level of your antivirus is outstanding. If not proceed to step 2.

2.Just save this file in txt format 

If your antivirus detects this text document without scanning, then the detecting level of your antivirus is excellent.else just scan this file with your antivirus and if not proceed to step 3.

3.Open this text file and change its extension to .exe and even then your antivirus dont detects this file,The perfomance of your antivirus is poor and you are no longer secure.
